Jailor

Unforgivable jail

By October 30, 2019 No Comments

We never really talk about my father, neither my mum nor i. We did talk about everything but never him and whenever anyone would mention his name I felt an oozing burn inside inside the very pit on my stomach as I smile and reply the questions about him, my father, the lovable chief of my village and a bragger of how a good husband he is. But we knew better as the sun sets down the grazed hills of “olumwee” “a mighty village”. Just as people are going to sleep, we are going to be prisoners of my father.
