A Woman's Journey

Relentless Courage

By August 9, 2019 No Comments

At age 14, I was sweet like a princess despite the plague of African poverty. The intention of men was not hidden from their lustful words.

No wonder I woke up in a strange country at age 15. Without help, men devoured me like food. Tears, pain and silence gave me courage.

At age 20, I saw home again. As a childless mother my expectation of a happy home was short lived.

At the verge of despair, my twins changed my husbands blows into gifts, love and apologies.

With my traffickers behind bar, I will not relent as an ambassador.
