Tunde was fast asleep. I made to get up but he tightened his arms around me. Caressing his face, I remembered how we met while studying at Kwara State Polytechnic but lost touch after graduation. 3 years later, we bumped into each other again while submitting my CV to his company. 2 years on, I still can’t tell my family. I, a muslim from the north; he a Christian from the west. Father would never give his daughter away to an ‘infidel’ and would blame mother for filling my head with progressive ideas. I bask in this love for now
