Finding My Twin

By January 29, 2019 No Comments

I found my twin in a bus park. All my life, I had this conviction that I hadn’t been alone in my mother’s womb. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw myself playing with a little boy, my own age who looked exactly like me. Those nights, I woke up crying because it had all been a dream.
My parents tried all they could to help me get past my illusions, but to no avail.
At ten, I met him at the park. He was with his mother, who is also my mother. I had been stolen at birth.
