The rainy season is bound to come, enough of the long holidays for hoes, sickles and cutlasses.
Last year was for wheat, this year will be for maize.
He prayed that there won’t be another lengthy August break. Eating maize the year round has became his habit. Now that his father’s land has be left fallowed for almost two years. It was the best time to plant, that every plant cum grass would grow so green.
Even his cattles would have a share of the pasture. Could his farm grow up blossoming plants that everywhere would turn to a pasture?
